I'm attempting a small research project on the physical layer processing of
a WLAN system. I'd like to feed the baseband signal, sampled at the
analog-to-digital converters, directly into the computer. I know there's a
mode in which I can monitor packets or frames, but is there a way to monitor
the received sampled signal before it goes through all the baseband
processing. If possible I want to feed the received signal directly from
the RF demodulator to the computer, and write my own processing. Has anyone
been able to do this, either with the PRISM 2 chipset or any other WLAN
solution?
