'iwconfig wlan0 frag <val>' can be used to configure threshold size for fragmentation (i.e., to select which packets will be fragmented). Other than this, there is no control methods for fragmentation.

'iwconfig wlan0 retry <val>' sets the maximum number of retries for packets.
