HOSTAP/NOCAT DWL-650 Issue

Hello all:
having some major issues on my DWL-650 runing hostap_cs and nocat when i test the link on my Ipaq (lucent silver card) the sniffer shows the ap switching between the following mac address: 00:05:5D:F1:2F:7C and FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF also i am losing about 50% 75% of all my data.. any clues on what could be configed wrong ? loosing about 10 outta 15 packets, any help would be great. also when i run netstumbler on the Ap i only see it come up once every 1 - 2 min.
