1. Its probably not even ATMEL RTOS, they likely licensed it from someone else
2. Very little chance that their WDS (which is probably standards-compliant, since ATMEL has their own MAC, which doesn't have the bugs of the ISIL one, and thus, the work-around.)
3. I wouldn't spend a lot of time looking (much less asking) for 'features' in commodity APs.
